Picton After Dark invites you to step back in time and explore the roots of one of Australia’s oldest townships, where history and the 'eerie' happenings intertwine.

Wander through dimly lit streets and hear tales of Picton’s early settlers, whose struggles to tame the land left a lasting imprint - some say in more ways than one. From the construction of the railway that connected Sydney to the expanding colony to the grand old buildings that housed pioneers, every landmark whispers of a bygone era, filled with triumphs and tragedies.

Ghostly figures are said to drift through Picton’s historic sites, their presence tied to colonial hardship, lost fortunes, and forgotten stories. The town’s foundations - built upon sweat and sacrifice - are said to hold more than memories, with chilling accounts of restless spirits roaming its well-worn pathways.

The tour is carried out on foot with approximately 2km of walking and takes around 2 hours. Children are permitted on the tour at their parent/carer’s discretion, however some content may be frightening.

Note: The tour is conducted on public footpaths. Private/closed buildings and the mushroom tunnel will not be accessed.
